So proud of this lady! She slayed her weight loss goal for January, demolished her cardio workouts and is getting new shoes for beating Julian in their challenge!! What's even sweeter is Laura and her husband Ted own Raleigh's amazing Lynnwood Grill Lynnwood Brewing Concern and Wilson's Eatery ... she just texted me she's treating herself to a beer tonight! Well deserved girl!! Great job! Tell her to keep it up!

What was your goal and how did you achieve it?
My goals were to lose 15 pounds, to feel better about my body, and improve my fitness level. I achieved those goals by following the Whole 30 dietary plan along with cardio exercise (45-60 min.) at least 4x per week and weight training with Ashley 1-2x per week.
What was your "WHY" …
I had gained between 15-20 lbs over the past year and did not feel comfortable in my clothes. In fact, I felt uncomfortable all the time.
What has been, IS, or WAS the hardest part?
Definitely adjusting social activities to NOT focus on eating and drinking alcohol.
How do you plan on sustaining your results?
This is the tough part! I plan to set new goals every month and hold myself accountable to those goals. I will not continue Whole 30 exactly, but will limit carbs and alcohol significantly. I will enter my food intake into the My Fitness Pal app and stay within recommended calorie ranges to hold myself accountable.
What is your next goal?
My next goal is to lose 10 more pounds (at a rate of 2-3 lbs per week) and to increase my strength training to 2x per week. I also plan to introduce yoga into my weekly routine at least once per week.
